When I was doing this project, which is painting a room, there are many things that I didn't know I needed to do. I thought that you just needed to empty the room and paint, I didn't know that there are many steps that you need to do in order to paint a room. These steps are: Empty the room, tape out the areas, tape ta tarp over the areas, wash the spots that you needed to paint, use primer, paint the areas, finish up the spots, clean up, and put the stuff in the room. It was a hard job to do, even when you get some help. The reason why I want to learn how to paint a room, is because when I have my own house, or get a job that does that, I will be ready to do that. I wanted the skills to do these things so when I have my own house, I could do whatever I want. At the end of the project, I was very proud of myself, before I paint the room, the room was ugly and dark, after I paint the room, it was much easier to see and not ugly. There was some things that happened that I didn't plan for, when I was painting the room, some of the blinders on the window were falling apart, so I took these blinders off and take them home and fix them with some hot glue. This project helped not only me, but other people too, when I was painting the room, the room I was painting belonged to a church, and they wanted it to be a place for kids to play in during Oktoberfest, so when the government shutdowns are over, and when Oktoberfest comes around, there might be some kids playing in the room that I painted.  That also reminds me of something, when I was painting the room, we made some changes to make sure that people are safe, one of these is only having 2 people in the room at a time, and use a fan to blow wind out.
